Embedding categorical fields requires at least one data source with a categorical field. This special type of field needs to be specifically updated in the schema. The following steps can be applied to any data source where one or more fields is a known categorical field as part of the data source creation process.
Data source creation
Select your data source from the available options
- Click NEXT
- Name your data source Complete all required fields, based on your data source type In this example we will add in an S3 file location
- Click NEXT
You will be presented with the schema defaults on the fields Graft sees
- Clicking on any of the drop down fields will display the available field type options
- Select Categorical from the options list for your categorical field
- Click NEXT A preview of your data will be displayed in table form
- OPTIONALLY: Click on the
Gallery EYE icon to switch to a scrolling gallery view
- Click FINISH
