Your use case workspace

Project Creation

A project in Graft is your workspace for one or more related use cases; it contains connections to your data, one or more entities (the working objects of your selected data) and access to your machine learning results. Once created, a Project Dashboard is available and allows you to manage your project.

To create a new project navigate to the Project console by Clicking on the Graft icon in the top left hand corner of the screen.

A list of projects you have created will be displayed, Click on the SHARED WITH ME tab to see projects shared by colleagues.

  • Click on the ADD NEW PROJECT button. A Configure Project dialog box will appear

Graft provides the option to create a brand new project or clone an existing project

 

Create a brand new project​

  • Leave the Project Type as New Project
  • Enter a suitable name for your project

Your project name must be unique within your organization or the UI will display an error. If this happens update the name to continue

  • Optionally Add a project description to help if you share the project with your Organization
  • Select FINISH

 

Cloning an existing project​

From the drop down list in Project Type Select Clone an existing project**

  • Enter a suitable name for your project

Your project name must be unique within your organization or the UI will display an error. If this happens update the name to continue

  • Select one of the projects from the Existing Projects drop down list (this includes your own and shared projects)
  • Optionally Add a project description to help if you share the project with your Organization
  • Select FINISH
