Overview
The Data source summary dashboard provides an overview of the current configuration of the data connector. This screen is displayed when the data source is first configured and is also available from the Data tab and clicking on Select for the appropriate data source allowing you to review settings.
The top left corner indicates the data source type followed by the configuration.
Fields Tab
The field tab provides a listing of the data source fields available, with their name, type and description where available.
Preview Tab
This tab provides a sample of the data, which can be helpful when you are looking to set up entities and need to know which field to apply trunk models to. The preview can be switched between Gallery , Tiled
and Table
views. You can also hide columns
and filter
to simplify your view.
Deletion of a data source will trigger deletion of all related objects - such as Apps and Entities. Graft presents a list of impacted objects as part of the deletion confirmation process. Please see Deleting a data source for more details.
Quick Entity
Where available, Clicking on the QUICK ENTITY tile will automatically create an initial entity based on the datasource, including ALL the fields present in that data source and you are presented with the partially complete Entity Dashboard, you may then complete the Entity configuration.
If you require finer grain control of the fields used from a data source or wish to use multiple data sources in a single entity Click on the Entity tab in the sidebar menu
