Connecting to and using Third party Models via API
Graft supports the use of third party models to embed your data. To connect you must have a valid account with the third party which is in good standing and an Access API Key.
The API key is stored within the Security menu under your initials in the top right hand corner of the screen.
Adding API keys
At the bottom of the list (you can scroll or use the Search bar) you will be presented with the option to add an API key for OpenAI and/or Cohere
- Click on the ADD button for either third party vendor.
- Enter your key details
- Click on the
icon to View your API key
- Click on the
save icon to save your key in Graft
Viewing API Keys
- Click on the

- Mouse over the
icon to change to the
icon and click
Deleting an API key
- Click on the
icon to Delete your API key

THIRD PARTY CHARGES
When using an API to connect and use a third party model you will be billed for the model's usage within your third party account. These charges may be significant and we recommend you familiarize yourself with these potential charges. Graft will only charge for the transmission and resulting storage of the output from the third party and any other functionality utilized within Graft. We will NOT charge for the processing within the third party platform. |
